Smith’s Cove is one of Grand Cayman’s most scenic beaches, with rocky outcrops, crystal clear waters and pink sand. This small cove offers plenty of large trees and shaded areas as well as access to some of Cayman’s best snorkeling. Children will love seeing schools of small fish so close to shore.
Stronger swimmers will find giant Parrot Fish, reef Squid, Octopus out at the reef, 100 yards or so from shore.
The cove is located about a mile and a half from the cruise terminals in Georgetown. If the surf is rough, snorkelers will have poor visibility in the water. Bathroom and shower facilities are available.
This is a great spot to watch the sun set!
