Camana Bay, located along Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, is a great place to take the kids for a few hours of fun, food and entertainment.
Outdoor Activities
If the day is nice, consider spending a few hours enjoying the outdoor activities offered by Camana Bay.
There are two sets of fountains that are water play areas for children. There are often large blue child safe building blocks set out for the kids for added enjoyment. For the adults, there are several outdoor restaurants in viewing distance of the fountains that provide food, drink and entertainment. In addition to the restaurants, there are rocking chairs and outdoor tables available.
The observation tower is also a great spot to take the children. There is a wonderful mural that winds its way up the five story staircase to the observation area, depicting sea life common to the ocean surrounding the Cayman Islands. It is great fun discovering the various sea creatures as you climb the staircase. For the less adventurous, an elevator is available take you to the observation area. Once on top, you will experience wonderful views of Seven Mile Beach, Camana Bay, and the North Sound — definitely worth the effort!
The Island at Camana Bay is a sandy beach island located on the property. Kids can play in the sand or enjoy fun and relaxation on the hammocks.
There are also other assorted water fountains, garden areas, a water wall, plenty of shopping and lots of other areas to enjoy while exploring the property.
